Nevada Gaming Commission

Nevada Gaming Control Board

The Nevada Gaming Commission is the mother of all US gaming agencies. With offices in Carson City, Elko, Las Vegas, Laughlin and Reno, the Commission and Gaming Control Board regulate all gambling in Nevada.

The Gaming Commission is a five-member appointed body. Its primary responsibilities include acting on the recommendations of the Gaming Control Board in licensing and appeals situations. The Commission is the final authority on licensing matters, having the ability to approve, restrict, limit, condition, deny, revoke or suspend any gaming license.

Besides the American Gaming Association, the Nevada Resort Association is a gaming operator trade group.
